We arrived around 9 PM, and a friendly young gentleman eagerly assisted with our luggage and guided us to our room. The initial impression of service was commendable. The best aspect by far was the stunning beach view from our room. While the facilities were satisfactory with conveniences like a large refrigerator to keep drinks cool, it's worth noting that no meals were provided. The location in Hikkaduwa is unbeatable, placing you within easy reach of shops and restaurants, perfect for grabbing snacks after a day of diving or exploring. They offer free Wi-Fi in the rooms, which is a big plus for planning your next underwater adventure. While not featuring a full-service restaurant, the nearby dining options make it easy to enjoy local cuisine. A paid airport shuttle may be wise for a smooth transfer. For those weighing luxury vs. Value, Apollo provides a decent experience without breaking the bank, perfect for beach lovers like myself just looking for relaxation before future dives.
